The Jail Division operates continuously, but the research does not identify public booking-photo office hours. Use the online records center for request tracking. The jail phone menu directs inmate inquiries, warrant information, and bonding questions to different options.
Where to Direct a Request
The agency and the custody state determine the right route.
- For a current jail result, begin with the MCSO roster and county booking path.
- For an originating Conroe, Willis, or Shenandoah police report, contact that city’s records office as described on its city page.
- For a warrant question, use the official path on Most Wanted Fugitives and confirm with MCSO or the issuing court.
- For a later criminal case result, use Montgomery County Odyssey and the appropriate clerk.
- For a sentenced state-prison record, use the official TDCJ offender locator rather than the county roster.
- For federal or civil detention, use the applicable official federal locator, not a county jail result.
